Spells and Shenanigans Is Brewing: Here’s Everything You Need to Know
🔮 What Is Spells and Shenanigans?
This October, we’re conjuring something magical. Spells and Shenanigans is a month-long Twitch charity event where streamers join forces in teams to raise $40,000 in funds for life-changing programs supporting the 2TIGE community. Together, we’ll turn our platforms into potions of power channeling the spirit of togetherness, transformation, and a little bit of mischief.
From October 1–31, our four elemental teams Earth, Fire, Water, and Air will compete in friendly fundraising challenges, casting spells of empowerment and weaving magic for our community.
🏳️⚧️ Why Your Support Is Urgently Needed
This November, Trans Empowerment Project hopes to celebrate 9 years of serving the 2TIGE community but that milestone is at risk. Right now, TEP is facing a major funding crisis, and without immediate support, our life-saving programs may be forced to shut down.
Your fundraising during Spells & Shenanigans isn’t just helping a cause, it’s keeping people alive. Without TEP, community members face impossible choices: going without HRT, choosing between food or housing, or losing the safe spaces they rely on for support and belonging.

🕯️How It Works
Theme: Alchemy and elemental magic! You’ll join one of our four teams and bring your own personality, games, art, or content style. We simply ask that all streams follow Twitch TOS. (Optional: We’ll provide graphics and educational materials if you want to share more about TEP’s work on stream.)

Fundraising Period: October 1–31, 2025
Streaming Schedule: There is no fixed raid train or dates. You can stream whenever works for you! You’ll have your own Tiltify campaign under your team page to raise a collective of $10,000. You can stream once or multiple times, and start fundraising as early as Oct 1st.
👾 Spirit Week
- Week 1: Light the Candle
- 📅 Oct 1–7
- Theme Focus: Safe Spaces & Setting Intentions
🕯️ Set the energy for the event such as crafting the circle, defining your light in the darkness. - Ideas:
- Share your “comfort rituals”
- Stream cozy games (Unpacking, Stardew, Dreamlight Valley)
- Art stream of your magical ward or altar
- Week 2: The Haunted Realm
- 📅 Oct 8–14
- Theme Focus: Embracing the Unknown
🦴 Explore fear, transformation, and the shadows that shaped you. - Ideas:
- Play scary games (Little Misfortune, Oxenfree, Cozy horror)
- Share past challenges you’ve transformed from
- Costume or makeup stream
- Week 3: Coven Connections
- 📅 Oct 15–21
- Theme Focus: Mutual Magic & Community
🕸️ This week is about teamwork, shared power, and reminding others they’re not alone. - Ideas:
- Co-op streams (Phasmo, Lethal Company, etc.)
- Witchy tea-time or story-sharing with a friend/mod
- Viewers submit affirmations or horror themed fan art
- Week 4: Rise of the Alchemies
- 📅 Oct 22–31
- Theme Focus: Thriving Together
🎃 The final transformation — no longer haunted by the past, but empowered by your magic. - Ideas:
- Halloween-themed community night
- Host a costume contest or talent show
- Invite your community to reflect on growth this month
