Trans Empowerment Project is shaping the future of empowerment and leadership at our upcoming 2024 Rise & Thrive Leadership Conference! This is our first Rise & Thrive Leadership Conference and Job Fair.

This is a 3-day event offering networking, skill-building, learning, and employment opportunities for the 2TIGE community, centering Disabled 2TIGE-BIPOC!

The Purpose of Rise & Thrive is to: 

Inspire and empower 2TIGE community leaders to learn the skills they need to build power for themselves and others in the community.

Connect 2TIGE job seekers with safe and affirming employers, who are committed to providing equitable work places. 

Ensure as a community that we can all Rise & Thrive

TEP is actively serving at least 2,138 clients who are seeking employment assistance through our work within Trans Employment Project.

40% of the clients requesting direct aid in 2023 from our programs indicated that they were unemployed with no access to income whatsoever.

We’ve seen roughly a 60% increase in the number of assistance requests for finding affirming employers over the last year.
