THE PLEDGE

SAFE means I show up. SAFE means I don’t look away. SAFE means Trans lives are not up for debate.

I pledge to actively affirm and protect 2TIGE (2Spirit, Trans, Intersex, and Gender Expansive) lives, especially Trans youth, in a world that is increasingly hostile to their existence.

This is not just a statement.
This is not a trend.
This is not performative allyship.

This is me, making a commitment.

By signing this pledge, I affirm that:

I believe Trans people deserve safety, dignity, joy, and a future — without conditions.
I understand that anti-trans rhetoric fuels real harm, real policy violence, and real loss of life.
I will use my voice to interrupt misinformation, bigotry, and silence both online and offline.
I will invest in Trans liberation through time, money, skills, resources, or platform and not just my words.
I will center Trans people, especially Trans youth and Disabled 2TIGE people of color, when decisions are being made that impact their lives.
I will continue my own learning, unlearning, and showing up, even when it’s uncomfortable, inconvenient, or unpopular.

Being SAFE means I won’t wait for permission to care. It means I won’t outsource courage to Trans people who are already carrying too much. It means I understand that solidarity is something I must practice, not something I can claim.

I choose to be SAFE.

I choose to protect Trans futures.
